Don't Be Shy We grew up being taught not to brag and many of us are hesitant to highlight just how much we've
done, how much we've accomplished, and just how good we are. A well written resume is your chance to do just that! A resume
is like a sales prospectus and you are the product. A great resume will get you the interview, but it's up to you to "close
the sale." Make sure your document includes all the good stuff.

Be Honest! Your interviewer has been through this process hundreds, if not thousands of times and
h/she will most likely be looking directly at your resume during the interview process. Your honesty and integrity (or lack
thereof) will be readily apparent to them as you proceed through the interview. Don't ever include anything in your resume
that you cannot comfortably explain, justify or defend.

Use Enough Space To Tell Your Story If you've only
been in the workplace for a short time, a two page resume would be excessive and would probably contain more "fluff"
than someone would care to read. Conversely, if you've been working for many years with a solid track record of achievement
and have held several positions, you have experience and a rich story to tell. In that case, a single page resume would not
do you justice. Don't "short change" yourself. Use the space you need to tell your story. At the executive level,
a three page resume is acceptable as well. We'll help you figure it out!

A Word About Scannable Resumes Like it or not, we're in the electronic age. Your resume might be read by a human or it might be
electronically scanned for appropriate phrases and keywords that are relevant to the position to be filled. Electronic resumes
are then stored in company databases. In addition to being visually appealing and compelling, your professional resume
must be electronically "scanner friendly." We'll make sure that it is!
